Baselland’s Reptile Exchange

The Baselbieter Reptilienbörse (Baselland Reptile Exchange) is the largest and most visited reptile exchange in Switzerland. At this 21st edition, 150 exhibitors from Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, France, and Poland will gather to buy, sell, and exchange around 6,000 amphibians, insects, reptiles, scorpions, snakes, tarantulas, and turtles, as well as accessories (no poisonous snakes please!). There will be two lectures (in German): one on the care and breeding of some selected frogs by at 11:30, and one on giant snakes rarely kept in terrariums at 14:00. Each lecture lasts 30-45 minutes and are included in the entrance fee. There will be restaurant catering and a barbecue to complete the outing.
Entrance is CHF 10 for adults and CHF 5 for youths ages 10-16, free under age 10.
