The 53rd Internationale Basler Mineralientage are all about minerals, fossils, jewelry, accessories, and related equipment. The event is aimed at collectors and traders, as well as the simply curious. This year’s edition will include a special presentation of Kyoseki, the Japanese art of stone and bonsai presentation in accordance with Japanese philosophy. Sculpted by wind and water over time, stones can take on different sizes and shapes that remind us of natural objects.
Entrance costs CHF 10 for adults, CHF 5 for youths ages 10-18, and free for kids under age 10; two-day tickets are CHF 15.
