Belcea Quartet — 100 Years of Chamber Music Basel

The Belcea Quartet, founded in 1994 at London's Royal College of Music, is among the most prestigious quartets of its generation. The quartet consisting of Corina Belcea-Fisher (violin), Suyeon Kang (violin), Krzysztof Chrozelski (viola), and Antonine Lederlin (cello) performs regularly in major concert halls throughout Europe and America and at renowned festivals. On this evening, they will be playing Anton Webern's "Five Movements;" Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s String Quartet No. 19 in C major, KV 465 “Dissonance Quartet;” and, together with Veronika Hagen (violin) and Jean-Guihen Queyras (cello), Johannes Brahms’ String Sextet No. 2, G major, op. 36.
Tickets are CHF 38-69 for adults, CHF 28-58 for students under age 30, and CHF 5 for children and youths under age 20.
