BiblioWeekend (Library Weekend)

BiblioWeekend is a weekend for libraries in Switzerland. The aim of BiblioWeekend is to raise awareness of the importance of open libraries among decision-makers in politics, to put libraries at the center of attention, and to open their doors wide to all sections of the population. The basic idea is to create special moments in which libraries can show what they are capable of—at times when they are normally closed. Events, meetings, and readings at unusual times—BiblioWeekend offers all of this, on Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday, when they are normally closed. Library users (and not-yet-users) are free and therefore have time to check out Swiss libraries!
This fourth edition will take place from March 28 to 30 under the motto “Worte verbinden Welten / Les mots relient les mondes / Le parole uniscono i mondi" (Words connect worlds).
Entrance is free; reserve your tickets at https://www.biblioweekend.ch/fuer-bibliotheken/anmelden.
