This Basel craft beer fair will highlight a whole variety of artisanal beers from many small breweries. The offers range from classic light beers, ales, and IPAs to hearty stouts. You can also discover the new trend of fruity and sour beers. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience beers from numerous microbreweries. The program will include tastings of the different types of beer, many talks on the culture and history of beer in Basel, as well as classes and workshops where hobby brewers can learn about different aspects and styles of home brewing (courses and workshops on Saturday start at 10:00).
Entrance is free but there will be a CHF 5 deposit on a tasting glass that you can return or keep as a souvenir. There is a charge for consumption, guided beer tastings, and courses and workshops for (hobby) brewers and those who want to become one.
