This first event of the Blues Festival Basel 2024—the Promo Blues Night—offers the platform for three young blues bands nominated by a jury to present their compositions to the audience for 35 minutes each. The three bands this year are Snooks, The Bluestooth, and Rambling Ponies. Be there on this electrifying night to listen to great music and help lead your favorite band to victory with your cheers and applause. The expert jury will decide the winners immediately after the three concerts, and the bands will receive an engagement at one of the partner festivals (em Bebbi sy Jazz, Jazzweekend Reinach, Dorfjazz Allschwil, and Summerblues) as a prize. The band that wins first place that evening will secure an appearance in the Blues Festival’s main program the following year—on the big stage of the Blues Festival Basel.
