From December 4-14, the Alte Marktplatz (Market Square) will once again be transformed into a wintery cottage village full of festive cheer and sparkling lights. Stroll among the lovingly decorated stalls, discover artisanal handicrafts, delicious treats, and gift ideas. There is so much to discover along the long rows of stands: snow globes, glowing stars, sparkling Christmas decorations, ceramics and woodwork, handmade stuffed animals, and all sorts of delicacies. Enjoy the aroma of freshly baked crêpes, roasted almonds, and delicious chocolate-covered fruits. To warm up, there's mulled wine or nonalcoholic punch, and a select cultural program, including performances by the Lörrach Music School and the Motet Choir, will add to the festive atmosphere. The little guests can look forward to the children's carousel and a visit from Santa Claus.
