In a world where the race for productivity is relentless, where everything is fast-paced and constantly under control, what room do we leave for surprise and encounters? “Tinn Tout’!,” (“Turn everything off!” in Réunion Creole) demonstrates to all generations that a pause is sometimes necessary. The Réunion-based company Ziguilé, returns to La Coupole with this circus performance—a true burst of acrobatics and music, born from an unusual encounter with boredom. Between fabric, hoops, ropes, manipulation of bodies and objects, and games of risk, this performance is an aerial and organic call to acrobatic freedom, readily embracing the unexpected and the incongruous in its figures. It is a breathtaking metaphor about the need to let go, because fully experiencing boredom means accepting a new encounter with oneself... and one's imagination!
