The stars shine brightly at the Klassik Sterne Rheinfelden concert series, launched by the Hochrhein Music Festival. Since the 2010/11 season, artistic director Sol Gabetta and cultural manager Christoph Müller have been bringing top-class classical music stars to Rheinfelden to offer audiences a broad and diverse program.
Four young virtuosos in a state of musical emergency—the members of the Vision String Quartet play from memory, standing up—igniting a blend of precision and pure joy. Their sound spectrum ranges from classical refinement to pop and rock influences. And in concert, they also focus on diversity: In addition to Mozart's elegant "Prussian Quartet" KV 575 and Shostakovich's profound seventh string quartet, they leave room for free improvisation—spontaneous, passionate, and unique.
Tickets are CHF 59-79 for adults and half-price for youths up to age 18 and students.
