Unlock your creativity and believe in it! This workshop is designed to unlock your creativity through failure and experimentation. Through a series of exercises and games, this workshop will help you find the confidence to experiment and play and add a little extra je-ne-sais-french to your writing, public speaking, and creativity.
Drawing from close to a decade of performance experience, comedian, clown, writer, and workshop teacher Teddy Hall will give you the tools necessary to believe in your own ability to believe in what you do and put heart and humor into your work. While this workshop engages with comedy principles, it is designed to be able to help anyone—performer or not—find and nurture their own creativity.
The workshop takes place at The Beast Comedy Club Basel from 11:00-17:00 (potentially slightly longer, if necessary) with a lunch break. It will be conducted in English by Hall, who draws from both his own experience in comedy and a wide variety of workshops and received education in the performing arts.
The workshop is flexibly priced at 80-100 CHF for working professionals; however, in the interest of accessibility in comedy, there are always cheaper guestlist spaces for those that are financially struggling. If money is the only thing holding you back from attending, simply email teddyhallcomedy@gmail.com and all will be resolved.
