Schur knew by age 8 that music would define his life and that he would become the next Jimmy Page. The catalyst was someone in his class mentioning Led Zeppelin, and he had no idea who or what they were. His father then introduced him to this magical world, playing records from his collection for him. A guitar as a Christmas present marked the beginning of his musical journey. Always aiming for major milestones, Schur stumbled along the way in various areas, yet never lost his way. With youthful naiveté, he built studios, booked other bands for local bars, and tried to reach an audience with his own music on streaming platforms. He took every job imaginable to finance and promote his passion. With his first song, "Gullwing Bravad," he aimed for 2 million streams, but ultimately only achieved 1,000 within the target timeframe. Schur could easily have become an author given how succinctly he describes on his website the twists and turns through which he finally discovered his musical voice.
