Concrete Jungle — Urban Animals

“Concrete Jungle—Urban Animals” is a poetic and thought-provoking group photography exhibition exploring the presence and resilience of wildlife within urban environments. Featuring the work of nine international photographers, the exhibition reveals the quiet beauty, surprising encounters, and shared rhythms between humans and the animals who inhabit the cities. Through documentary, conceptual, and experimental approaches—including abstract imagery and Intentional Camera Movement (ICM)—the works examine themes of adaptation, coexistence, fragility, and belonging. From familiar city dwellers like birds, bees, and cats to fleeting encounters with foxes or deer on the edge of the urban landscape, each photograph invites viewers to pause, observe, and rediscover the life that breathes beyond concrete and steel. “Concrete Jungle—Urban Animals” challenges viewers to see the city not as a purely human domain, but as a living habitat where many species move, survive, and flourish alongside humans.
There will be a vernissage of the exhibition on Thursday, November 7, from 17:30-20:30.
There will also be a finissage and wine tasting on Thursday, November 28 at 18:00.
