Beatrice Vetter is a Swiss artist based in Basel-Stadt. She works primarily in painting, mixed media, and photography. Her practice explores themes of memory, place, and human connection. With a background in art education from New York Design, Vetter has developed a distinctive visual language that balances quiet introspection with expressive color, form, and texture. Her works invite the viewer into contemplative spaces, often inspired by the landscapes and everyday poetry of North-West Switzerland and her travels.
Vetter has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad, and her work is held in private collections in Basel, Zürich, London, and Berlin. She works from her studio in Basel-Stadt. Her upcoming solo exhibition at ArtWall Centrepoint Basel marks her first major exhibition in Basel this autumn, bringing together a new body of work created over the past year.
The exhibition can be visited during Centrepoint's opening hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-13:00; Thursday from 9:00-17:00; and first Saturday of the month from 11:00-13:00).
