Florias is a blossoming young band from Basel. Their music is beautifully flowery and dreamy. Their indie-folk-pop, with its gentle harmonies and ethereal thoughts, framed by cello and piano sounds, evokes the feeling of the first rays of sunshine in a spring meadow. The band, consisting of Aline Thüring (drums, piano, backing vocals), Florin Bürgler (guitar, vocals), and Lina Haldemann (cello, backing vocals), will release their new EP “Soleil” on April 24th, which will be launched at a big hometown gig at Kuppel Basel.
Supporting act on this evening will be Berenice. With poetic lyrics and playful melodies, Berenice creates a dreamy soundscape that leaves a lasting impression. The core of her music is her voice and lyrics, embraced by the soft textures of various instruments that gently underscore her vocals and invite you on a journey through a world of the heart, filled with desolate landscapes and vast starry skies. In her debut EP, “Moon Bloom,” Berenice embarks on a long quest for home, love, and ultimately, herself. Doors open at 19:30 and concert starts at 20:30.
