If you are planning a trip to the beautiful region of Zermatt, why not plan it during their Folklore Festival. Associations from all over Switzerland show their tradition with music, traditional costumes, dances, and colorful costumes from nostalgic times. The highlight is a big parade through the town. In addition, guests can expect a wide variety of food and drink, performances by the clubs, and an exciting entertainment program for children. The net proceeds from the festival go to the Zermatt Youth Fund. Every franc helps the youth to implement various projects in Zermatt.
