The Greenfield Festival is an annual rock music festival held on the outskirts of the town of Interlaken, in the Swiss canton of Bern. It is the largest rock festival in Switzerland and has been held every year since 2005. The beautiful Alpine panorama with views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau attracts over 70,000 festival visitors from Switzerland and all over Europe each year.The music genres include rock, punk rock, alternative rock, and heavy metal.
Held over three days, this year’s line-up includes Green Day, Bring me the Horizon, The Prodigy, Machine Head, Dropkick Murphys, and many more.
Tickets are CHF 200 for two-day passes (either Thursday/Friday or Friday/Saturday), or CHF 248 for 3-day passes. Camping on-site is also available.
The grounds can be reached by car in about 1 hour 45 minutes; paid parking is available near the site. You can also arrive by public transport; the SBB offers 20% discount when you purchase a SBB RailAway-Kombi ticket.
