The Kunstmuseum Basel houses the oldest public art collection in the world. It comprises about 4,000 paintings, sculptures, videos, and works of installation art, as well as the ca. 300,000 drawings and prints from seven centuries held by the Kupferstichkabinett and is generally considered to be the most important museum of art in Switzerland.
On this afternoon, the museum invites you to join an English-language one-hour guided tour to explore the numerous masterpieces and learn about the history of the public collection of Kunstmuseum.
Cost is admission to the museum plus CHF 7.
