Henrik Freischlader remains a hidden gem for those who haven't yet heard of him. The German guitarist and singer has shared stages with B.B. King, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band, and after numerous tours across Europe, he is an indispensable part of the international blues scene. His virtuosic and passionate guitar playing, his raw, distinctive voice, and a knack for good grooves have shaped his unmistakable style over the years. The multi-instrumentalist has released 11 studio albums and seven live albums since 2006, and there's almost always a new album in the works on his label, Cable Car Records
2026 marks a new beginning for Freischlader: with a newly formed band he currently works on his upcoming studio album “Precious Time.” With Leon Mucke (drums), Gregor Sonnenberg (bass), and Dave Warmerdam (keys) he creates a fresh and highly musical unit that combines blues-rock with soul, groove, and an atmospheric depth. On their Precious Time Tour 2026 this constellation will perform together live on stage for the first time. The audience can look forward to a new musical dynamic—organic, powerful, and with lots of space for interaction and improvisation.
