Imagine is an annual youth festival to sensitize and bring awareness to young people about the subjects of racism, exclusion, and discrimination. Through activities, art, music, parties, workshops, and much more, the festival attempts to teach our youth to recognize their own conscious or unconscious biases and racist ways of thinking and, most importantly, to rethink and overcome their prejudices. In cooperation with the organization Terre des Hommes Switzerland, the festival has been planned by young people with a high degree of participation, organization, thought, and a determination to shape the development of our future society through openness, honesty, and dedication. This year marks the 21st anniversary of the Imagine Festival, which will take place once again in the city center, with main events in and around Barfüsserplatz; check their website for a list of times and activities.
If you are young and would like to volunteer your time, they are actively seeking helpers in various areas, including recycling, manning stands, grilling, as well as food and drink service.
