For the first time in Switzerland, the charismatic actor Jeff Goldblum will celebrate his lifelong love of jazz together with his long-time band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, live at the Volkshaus Zürich. Whether it's jazz, audience conversations, or collaborations with up-and-coming musicians, Goldblum does it all with a joyful sense of connection, savoring every moment. Audiences are taken on an evening's musical journey of classic jazz and impromptu comedy, starring the popular and gregarious Hollywood star.
In addition to film successes such as "Jurassic Park," "Independence Day," "The Fly," "The Great Frustration," "Grand Budapest Hotel," and "Thor: Ragnarok," as well as theatrical appearances and television shows, Goldblum also continues to play jazz. Whether he's a regular performer in Los Angeles or elsewhere, Goldblum will respond to audience questions, take quizzes and, of course, play classical jazz.
This concert will feature Goldblum on piano, John Storie on guitar, Alex Frank on bass, Joe Bagg on organ, James King and Scott Gilman on saxophones, and Kenny Elliott on drums. Goldblum and his band released their latest album, entitled “Plays Well With Others,” in March 2023.
