The Journées d’Octobre and the Folie’Flore exhibit will come together again this year at the Parc Expo in Mulhouse for a festival with good business, entertainment, relaxation, and festive moments for the whole family, as well as a magical and unique floral show.
Journées d’Octobre
The traditional “villages” of the Journées d’Octobre will present novelties of regional artisans, producers, and creators as well as events grouped around restaurants for convivial moments with family or friends. At the “Village des Créateurs,” about 40 artisans offer original and quality creations ranging from jewelry and leather goods to fashion and decoration. The “Village du Jardin” offers everything you need to develop your little green corner at home, including plants, barbecues, garden sheds, garden furniture, fences, and even cut-stone creations. The The “Village de l’Habitat” includes presentations related to the renovation, arrangement, or interior design of the house—doors, insulation, spas, heating, electricity, tiling, and household arts. Some exhibitors also offer products from the fashion and beauty sector. The “Marché du Terroir” is an opportunity to discover artisanal and local producers who are keen to advertise and present quality products from their regions. From teas to cold cuts, wines, and cakes, you will find everything to delight the taste buds. Lastly, the “Village Gourmand” is considered the soul of the festival, where people like to eat or have a drink in a festive atmosphere. There will also be three entertainment stages spread across the Gourmet Village for musical entertainment, dances, crafts, and culinary demonstrations.
Folie’Flore
Folie’Flore is a unique floral show that takes place every year in early October in Mulhouse. In total, 10,000 m² of ephemeral gardens come to life to the rhythm of the play of water and light for 11 days of show. Fruits and vegetables, landscaped gardens, cut flowers, and the forest are the four themes that follow one another over 4 years.
The fair will open daily from 10:00 (except October 5 from 15:00) and will close daily just before midnight (October 15 at 20:00).
Entrance costs € 8.50 for adults and € 6.50 for children ages 7-15 for both fairs. Access to only the villages of the Journées d’Octobre is € 2; kids under age 7 are free.
