A highlight is Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat major, a work brimming with inventiveness, wit, and brilliant virtuosity. The soloist is the internationally renowned Swiss pianist Oliver Schnyder, whose expressive interpretations and sensitive musicality have garnered worldwide acclaim. The program concludes with Franz Schubert's Symphony No. 5, which captivates with its youthful freshness and lyrical beauty. Schubert, who particularly admired Mozart, takes up the classical style in this symphony and masterfully combines it with romantic expression.
