Artstübli Kunst & Kultur will be showing the exhibition “Traces of Absence” by Basel photographer Kostas Maros. The exhibition brings together works from his series “Myths of Everyday Life” and “Cicatrice” and examines landscapes and urban spaces as a repository of human action. Between nocturnal urban spaces, subtle lighting conditions, and the monumental marble quarries of Carrara, pictorial spaces between documentary observation and atmospheric condensation emerge.
There will be a vernissage of this exhibit on June 4, starting at 18:00. The gallery is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 11:00-18:00 and Saturdays from 14:00-18:00. During Art Basel Week, from June 15-20, the exhibition will be open daily from 11:00-18:00.
