Since its inception in 1996, LISTE has become one of the most important fairs for young galleries that present emerging, little-known artists, as well as a meeting place for members of the international art world who are interested in this new generation of galleries and artists. This year, they will be presenting 91 galleries from 35 countries. With works by over 100 artists and 65 solo and 16 group presentations, there will be much to discover. A visit to LISTE has become a “must” for private and institutional art lovers, collectors, curators, and museum people.
LISTE Art Fair Basel is excited to team up with Berlin’s “do you read me?!” to create the fair’s first-ever bookstore featuring a handpicked selection of unique and exciting printed matter from the fields of contemporary art and culture.
The fair takes place in Hall 1.1 of the Messe Basel, the entrance is located behind Art Unlimited (Maulbeerstrasse / corner Riehenring).
Entrance costs CHF 25 for adults, CHF 12.50 reduced price (students and scholar can enter for free after 19:00). Tickets are only available on site during opening hours. Three guided tours will be offered on June 12 at 14:00, June 13 at 18:00, and June 15 at 14:00 at a cost of CHF 10 (excluding fair admission); to register, contact info@liste.ch or the fair office.
