Since its inception in 1996, LISTE has become one of the most important fairs for young galleries that present emerging, little-known artists, as well as a meeting place for members of the international art world who are interested in this new generation of galleries and artists.
This June, LISTE will celebrate its 31st edition and remain true to its mission of presenting galleries and artists who shape the present of contemporary art. Around 106 galleries from 36 countries representing a dynamic mix of emerging and more established galleries will present pioneering international positions in contemporary art at Messe Basel. More than 40 galleries make their debut at the fair this year while around 50 galleries return to LISTE, all of whose outstanding programs contribute significantly to contemporary art. A visit to LISTE has become a “must” for private and institutional art lovers, collectors, curators, and museum people.
The fair takes place in Hall 1.1 of the Messe Basel, the entrance is located behind Art Unlimited (Maulbeerstrasse / corner Riehenring). On Monday, the fair is reserved for the VIP Preview from 11:00-18:00 and is open for free to the public from 18:00-20:00.
On the other days, entrance costs CHF 25 for adults, CHF 12.50 reduced price (students, seniors, and people with disabilities), and free for kids under age 12. Entrance is free after 19:00. Tickets are available online or on-site during opening hours. Guided tours will be offered for free with an entry ticket; you can register for a tour when you purchase your ticket online or at info@liste.ch (meeting point: Info Desk, Hall 1.1).
