Since 1995, the pianist Robert Kolinsky and his team endeavor to bring renowned artists to Basel for an annual classical music festival to popularize the works of Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů. The festival, which is regarded by the media as “the smallest but finest of its kind,” this year includes five concerts.
On this evening, Steven Isserlis on cello and Connie Shih on piano will be performing works by Robert Schumann, Vítězslava Kaprálová, Miloslav Kabeláč, and Bohuslav Martinů.
