On this day, the sixth edition of the "Teppichsound Unplugged" (Carpet Sound Unplugged) festival takes place in and around the Y-shape that is Rümelinsplatz, including the Münz-, Schnabel-, Grünpfahl-, and Gerbergässlein alleys. Dozens of different ensembles with more than 100 musicians overall will perform, each with two 15-minute performances at two of the 12 different "stages" covered with colorful carpets. The styles, musical instruments, and voices couldn't be more diverse. Stroll on by and enjoy your favorite music again, but this time, it will all be performed "unplugged" (without amplification), so even the quietest sounds can be heard. Bring your friends and family to enjoy music, dancing, and the wonderful atmosphere of this little festival one last time on the artistic asphalt before it will need to make way for the excavators of the upcoming restructuring of the square!
