Each year, the magazine “Schweizer Familie” organizes a Nationaler Wandertag. This year’s 15th edition will take place in Engelberg, canton Obwalden. On this day, hikers will travel from all over Switzerland to Engelberg to join three well-known Swiss personalities on three different hiking routes (from family-friendly to more advanced hikes), which start from the Kurpark event area in Engelberg.
The festival grounds in Engelberg will open at 8:00, with plenty of food, activities, and entertainment for all ages throughout the day, including many attractive stalls, face painting and demonstrations of a falconer for the little ones, and musical entertainment into the evening to complete the day. A concert by Sina will take place from 17:00-18:00, and from 19:30-21:30, Swiss artist Kunz will take the stage.
The hiking day is a free event without registration; the concert by Sina is also free. For the Kunz concert, tickets are needed.
