After the enchanting summer night mood and sold-out concerts at the first four editions of this festival in 2022 to 2025, the classic open-air project will be entering the next round. There will be three concerts over two days on the idyllic Rhein Inseli, which can be reached from the Rheinbrücke between the two Rheinfelden.
For the program entitled "Esprit française," a touch of France fills the air on the island in the Rhein on this summer night. Music from various eras, including the great chansons of Édith Piaf and Michel Legrand, creates an atmospheric evening. Avi Avital captivates with his mandolin, its rich, full sound bringing the musical diversity of France to life. Together with the Kammerorchester Basel, he transports the audience to a world of art, sensuality, and passion.
There will be plenty of food and drink sales starting 2 hours before the concert, which will be moved inside the Bürgersaal Rheinfelden in case of bad weather.
Tickets are CHF 45-85; half price for students.
