The Musikschule Riehen, a part of the Musik-Akademie Basel, offers children and young people customized music lessons. They provide musical education in various forms with competence and enthusiasm.
On this day, they are inviting anyone interested in learning a musical instrument to simply stop by from 10:00–12:30. An instrument presentation entitled "Now music is made," concerts by children's and youth choirs, and a concert with Clown Pollina are on the program. Visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the instruments—touch, see, hear, and even try them out with the expert guidance of the respective music teachers in the classrooms. They will provide visitors with an orientation guide to choosing the right instrument and introduce their versatile program. This event will take place in the Musiksaal, Orangerie, and various other rooms of the music school.
