When Philip David Charles "Phil" Collins was born on January 30, 1951, in Chiswick, Great Britain, no one could have predicted the phenomenal success he would one day achieve. Where for many artists a single number-1 hit marks the pinnacle of a career, for Collins it was just the beginning. Grammy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and even an Oscar are among his many achievements. Whether with Genesis or as a solo artist, Collins hits the mark and touches the hearts of his fans. People know his songs and his stories, sing along, and connect their own stories to the music that has accompanied them through all of life's ups and downs for many years.
The members of this Phil Collins/Genesis tribute band are all Collins fans and grew up with this music. Every musician in the band has a unique connection to the music of Collins and Genesis. Most important for them is the true meaning of the term "tribute"—namely, respect, recognition, and humility towards a great artist. Respect for a life's work, a life story, and the talent and influence of a man to whom our tribute show bows, song by song. Their highest priority is to perform the songs as they deserve. They live every harmony, every lyric, and every sound, and they only want one thing—that their listeners can hear and feel their respect for the original.
