The cultural promotion department of the canton Basel-Landschaft wants to promote and support artistic collaboration, encounters between different artists, and creative exchange through a two-week "Reconnect" residency grant. The fifth edition of Reconnect will take place from June 27 to July 13, with a two-week residency grant and a public final event at the Villa Clavel. The 2025 scholarships were awarded to three duos—Stefan Karrer and Bianca Pedrina (media art & installation), Alessia Conidi and Patricia Huijnen (visual arts & animation), and Valerie-Katharina Meyer and Julia Rüegger (literature & literary performance).
Throughout the residency, these artists will develop their work and deepen the creative exchange. At the end of the stay, on Friday, July 11, there will be an event that will give the general public an insight into the artistic work and the collaborations. The audience can look forward to a varied afternoon with exciting encounters in the garden of Villa Clavel.
