At the Baselbieter Schnuppersporttag, children ages 5 and up can try out around 30 different sports in a relaxed and free environment at the Gitterlibad (swimming pool) as well as Gittleri and Frenkenbündten sports facilities in Liestal. Sports will include aikido, artistic gymnastics, athletics, baseball and softball, basketball, beach soccer, biathlon, crossfit, curling, cycle ball, dancing, fencing, floorball, handball, judo, karate, kung fu, light-contact boxing, mountain biking, pickleball, pistols & rifles, rugby, slackline, tennis, and table tennis, as well as water sports such as swimming, diving, and water polo. For the first time, the street workout area and the beach soccer field will also be included. Bring indoor and outdoor sportswear, as well as swimwear.
Registration is not required; participants can sign up directly at the information points, which will be announced on the website. On the website will also find a map with the location of the various offers.
