Ski Jumping Competition

Grosstitlisschanze Engelberg (OW)
Fri 19.12. | Sat 20.12. | Sun 21.12. | Sat 27.12. | Sun 28.12.

Ski jumping is an exciting winter sport in which competitors aim to achieve the farthest jump after sliding down on their skis from a specially designed curved ramp. The final score of each jumper is determined by the jump length, the competitor's aerial style, as well as other factors. Ski jumping, along with cross-country skiing, constitutes the traditional group of Nordic skiing disciplines.
Engelberg is not only home to the largest natural ski jumping facility in Switzerland, it is also the only venue in Switzerland where the world's best ski jumpers compete in the FIS World Cup. There will be two major competitions in December where you can experience this exhilarating sport up close.
The Viessmann FIS Ski Jumping World Cup will take place from December 19-21, and a week later, on December 27 and 28, all are once again invited to cheer on the ski jumpers at the Continental Cup; come along and spread the good vibes!
Admission for the Continental Cup is free, but admission to the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup is CHF 49 for adults and free for children. Secure your tickets are https://www.weltcup-engelberg.ch/en/tickets-event/tickets/.
