Solsberg Festival — Concert 3: Chamber Music

Klosterkirche Olsberg
Saturday, 28 June
19:30

It is with great pleasure that cellist Sol Gabetta, organizer of the Solsberg Festival, invites you to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this music festival. From June 26 to July 6, unique, sacred Baroque spaces on the Upper Rhein will once again be transformed into places of inspiration and musical togetherness. The festival remains true to its philosophy and continues to stand for high musical quality and an intimate atmosphere with a focus on chamber music. Musical highlights include performances by loyal companions and true "all-stars" of the festival.
On this evening, the celebrated young violinist Noa Wildschut presents a varied program with two musical friends, Pablo Barragán (clarinet), and Frank Dupree (piano). The program will include the clarinet trio of the chameleon-like composer Paul Schoenfield, Bartók's “Romanian Folk Dances” in an arrangement for clarinet and piano, as well as works by Darius Milhaud, Maurice Ravel, Joseph Horovitz, and Claude Vivier.
Tickets are CHF 19-49 for adults, half price for students, and CHF 15 for kids under age 16.
