Sound Garden — Naomi Greene

Fondation Beyeler
Wednesday, 08 July
18:00-20:00

During the warm summer months, the beats and sounds of the ‘Sound Garden’ resound around the pavilion in the park of the Fondation Beyeler. Every Wednesday evening, you can enjoy the music of local and national acts with cool drinks and an inviting outdoor atmosphere. From jazz and hip-hop to a yodeling choir, the multifaceted music program of Sound Garden in the museum’s park offers a relaxed way to spend a midweek evening. Enjoy the evening breeze as you lay back in the beautiful setting of the serene park and enjoy great music for free from June 24 to July 29.
The French singer-songwriter Naomi Greene combines harp, voice, and a keen sense of atmosphere to create an unmistakable sound between intimacy and expanse. Inspired by Patti Smith, Joni Mitchell, and David Bowie, her music moves between raw directness and dreamlike lightness. Her songs often arise from an initial spark that gradually takes shape and develops further. Delicate, intense, and full of poetic presence, her performance in the Sound Garden offers the audience a special evening outdoors in the museum’s park, taking them on an atmospheric journey of sound.
This event is free and no advanced booking is required. Meeting point is the pavilion in the park.
