As part of the upcoming “Stimmen” (Voices) music festival, the city of Lörrach in neighboring Germany will be transformed into a giant concert stage and the center of town will transformed into a giant singing festival, and the streets all over town will be firmly the hands of numerous choirs, ensembles, and bands. Professionals are just as welcome as enthusiasts who simply love to sing. Whether in a choir or a small ensemble, what matters is not the size of the performance, but the joy of making music together. Pop will be featured alongside jazz, and folk songs alongside gospel. As always, admission is free. Listeners can let themselves be carried away and experience the numerous groups and opportunities to sing along throughout the city. The venues, exact program, and sing-along opportunities available in 2026 will be announced later. What is already certain, however, is that the opening concert will take place as usual at 10:00 on the Marktplatz—as will the closing concert, likely at 17:00.
All are invited to the joint opening singing at 10:00. Furthermore, as usual, longer sing-along activities will be offered throughout the day in addition to the sing-along offers by the singers.
