At this workshop at the GGG Stadtbibliothek Basel West (City Library), educators, parents, and storytellers will be getting tips on how to engage young children in story times. The session will be a hands-on, interactive, and playful discussion of creating fun story times for young children (eg, 2-5 years old or 3-6 years old). Ninety minutes of practical suggestions for planning and delivering successful story times will be presented by Jeanne Darling, a veteran storyteller and pre-school teacher. Darling will not only provide ideas and tips but will have an assortment of materials available to share with participants.
