The SummerDays Festival is an indie, rock, pop, and hip-hop festival that takes place annually at the end of August in Arbon, directly on the shore of Lake Constance. It takes place on the same weekend as the Seaside Festival in Spiez, and a closer look will reveal that the musical line-up is very similar. Many of the musicians who play at one festival on Friday play at the other on Saturday and vice versa. This year’s line-up includes Andryy, Bukahara, Caroline Chevin, Dabu Fantastic, Die Fantastischen Vier, Ian Hooper, Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, Kim Wilde, Mando Diao, Nico Santos, Wincent Weiss, Zoe Wees, and many more..
The festival grounds are located about 2 hours from Basel by car or 3 hours by train and can be reached with a 10-minute walk from the festival parking lot and a 5-minute walk from the main train station. Combination train–concert tickets offering travel discounts of 20% can be purchased through the SBB.
One-day passes are CHF 115 and 2-day passes are CHF 208; children’s tickets and VIP passes are also available. Onsite camping can be purchased for CHF 40 for two nights.
