For the second time, an international PDC darts tournament is taking place in Switzerland. For three days, all the big darts stars will meet at the Swiss Darts Trophy in Basel and transform the St. Jakobshalle into the largest pub and festival hut in Switzerland. “We are delighted to be able to offer darts fans in Switzerland their own event—darts is experiencing an absolute hype there!” said Werner von Moltke, President of PDC Europe.
The tournament takes place over three days with six sessions each. On the PDC Pro Tour and at PDC Europe events, tournaments are always played over a best-of-11-leg format. The winner of a match is the first player to win six legs. In the semifinals, the distance increases to "best of 13 legs," while the final is played over the distance of "best of 15 legs."
Tickets are available for CHF 17-117, depending on day and category; half-price for kids up to age 16.
