In July 2025, Switzerland will host the 2025 Women's European Football Championship, with Basel one of the host cities. There will be a total of five matches played in St. Jakob-Park. These games—and indeed the entire Women’s EURO—will be accompanied by an extensive sports, cultural, and family program for everyone, with fan zones at Barfüsserplatz and Messeplatz, family activities and children’s programs, culture and exhibitions, and other events on certain days. On this day, the group stage match in Group D will see the Netherlands face off against France.
