If you collect vinyl records or simply want to peruse some second-hand goods and rarities, come to the events hall of the Markthalle for a unique record exchange. Around 30 stands will offer records from the genres of hip-hop, funk, soul, reggae, rock, pop, and more.
On Friday, DJ Chopfou will the records and create a wild atmosphere. A drink from the HausBAR will make your browsing more enjoyable.
On Saturday, the Rep-Statt at the Markthalle will offer a washing service for dusty vinyl records. The records are carefully brushed in a washing solution (made from distilled water, ethyl alcohol, and a very small amount of wetting agent) and then spun dry using air turbulence without leaving any residue. A new antistatic record cover is then recommended. This offer runs simultaneously to the vinyl market (10:00-15:00).
