Sign up for the Basel Tastemakers, a non-profit organization that was created to build a bridge allowing international audiences to experience performances at Theater Basel and enjoy the world-class arts and entertainment programming on offer.

Every few weeks, a performance at Theater Basel—ballet, opera, or play—is curated for English speakers. The Tastemakers experience include a pre/post-show talk about the show, followed by a cocktail reception and get-together with fellow Tastemakers and special artistic guests. The Tastemakers events have also included some behind-the-scenes surprise events throughout the year, including exclusive invites to rehearsals or backstage tours.

The Basel Tastemakers evenings are hosted in English, and Theater Basel offers English surtitles for many of their plays and operas.
