The SBB is offering a special travel ticket this fall—the Day Pass for 2—that will entice you to enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and special events that Switzerland has to offer in autumn at a much-reduced price. From now until November 7, 2025, you and a companion can travel anywhere in Switzerland for only CHF 78 (CHF 128 in first class). The ticket is valid for one whole day anywhere a GA is accepted (ie, bus, tram, SBB trains, and even some gondolas and boats). For this offer, one person must hold a valid Half Fare Travelcard or GA Travelcard (trial cards also accepted). Note, the Day Pass for 2 is valid for two passengers; do not buy a Day Pass for each passenger!

To benefit from this offer, go to https://www.sbb.ch/en/campaign/day-pass-for-2.html, select the day of travel, and purchase your ticket directly online. If you make the purchase online or via the app, you enter the name of just one traveler and specify the date of travel. If you buy the ticket at staffed points of sale and ticket machines, the ticket is non-personal and undated, and therefore needs to be validated (punched) at a ticket machine at the start of your journey—either at a ticket machine at a bus/tram stop or on the train platform in one of the yellow/orange machines.
