Volunteers Wanted for the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025

This summer, from July 2-27, the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 football/soccer championship is taking place in Switzerland. A total of five matches, including the final on July 27, will be taking place in Basel; the other matches will be held in Bern, Geneva, Luzern, Sion, St. Gallen, Thun, and Zürich. They are still looking for volunteers to help with various aspects of the organization of the 31 games, such as access management, accreditation, ceremonies, concessions/catering, logistics, transport, and many more. Overall, they are looking for about 2,500 volunteers to support fans, guests, and media representatives.

So if you are interested in experiencing women’s soccer at the highest level and everything that goes along with it live, you can still apply for a volunteer position. Application interviews (in-person or digitally) will be taking place through March to gauge the applicant’s availability, motivation, abilities, and interests. By the end of March, the selected volunteers will be informed about their assignments. There will be a training phase in May and June, with a kick-off briefing and task-specific training on site. The volunteer centers will open in June and July, when the volunteer work will begin just before and throughout the tournament.

In order to apply, you need to be 18 years old by June 15, 2025. You also should ideally be multilingual and have a good knowledge of English and/or the local language.
