This January, Luzern will once again become immersed in light. The seventh edition of the Lilu Light Festival Lucerne finds artists from all over the world showcasing light in all its manifold and fascinating facets. Discover creative light installations on a heart-warming winter walk and experience an attractive side program designed to appeal to all the senses. For 11 days, the squares, tourist attractions, and alleys of the city of Lucerne will be artfully illuminated in the evenings. The tour to the around 24 light installations can be walked independently in about 2 hours and is free of charge.
This year’s special light show at the Jesuitenkirche entitled “Soul” by Projektil is an immersive journey full of joy. PROJEKTIL's latest work of art awakens magical spirit animals that dance through light and shadow, transforming space and architecture. Saint-Saëns' “Carnival of the Animals” is rearranged and fused with modern original compositions, driving beats, and soulful vocals.
