The Best of Ennio Morricone in Concert
The world-renowned Oscar winner Ennio Morricone is considered one of the most prolific composers in the history of film music, having written over 500 scores for cinema and television, creating legendary pieces. He received his last Oscar in February 2016 for Tarantino's "The Hateful 8." Morricone achieved immortality almost 50 years ago with his music for "Once Upon a Time in the West." Morricone achieved particular renown for his compositions for the “Spaghetti Western” classic "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," Roland Joffé's drama "The Mission," and Giuseppe Tornatore's film "Cinema Paradiso." His fans can experience Morricone's unforgettable works live in select cities. Eighty musicians and singers from the Milano Festival Opera, under the direction of renowned conductor Marco Seco, will take to the stage and bring Morricone's captivating music to life.
