This program features five creations by Theater Basel’s choreographer Marco Goecke to reflect one unmistakable choreographic signature. The intimate solo “Tué” connects three extraordinary women to the music of chansonnière Barbara. “Midnight Raga” transports the audience to a mystical Indian night, and “Äffi,” a repertoire classic, made Goecke's style instantly famous in 2005. Set to music by Nina Simone and Lady Gaga, “All Long Dem Day” and “Nachtmerrie” create powerful scenes about human relationships, separations, and loss. Sometimes dark and dramatic, sometimes lighter and lyrical, “Dark Matter” manifests itself in a brilliant way. The program will be presented on the small stage of Theater Basel.
Tickets are CHF 30-70 for adults and CHF 10 for youths and students.
