“La vita è bella così com'è”—life is beautiful just as it is. With this optimistic credo, Pippo Pollina comes to the Burghof this season. He has long been considered one of the most creative artists on the European singer-songwriter scene. He has earned this special status through consistency and dedication, both in the studio and on stage. He has been performing for over 30 years, releasing countless albums, playing international tours, and collaborating with renowned musicians. The Badische Zeitung wrote about his performance at the STIMMEN Festival 2024: “His songs are characterized by beautiful melodies and deep emotion; often tinged with melancholy, yet imbued with a Mediterranean lightness.” Now, together with cellist Cecile Grüebler, pianist Elisa Sandrini, and clarinetist Roberto Petroli, he presents his new project with a chamber music feel.
