Swiss Chamber Concerts — OpusHolliger

The “OpusHolliger” program combines two main themes: The first leads from Jean-Philippe Rameau, the French Baroque composer, via Claude Debussy, for whom Rameau was an important reference, to the world premiere of a trio by Swiss composer Philippe Racine. Racine refers to Debussy's originally planned trio for oboe, horn, and harpsichord, which he ultimately composed for flute, viola and harp. The second focus is dedicated to the 100th birthday of György Kurtág, one of the most important composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. In close creative collaboration with Heinz Holliger, the work of both composers is inspired by different musical languages, which form the second central pillar of this program.
Tickets are CHF 15-35.
