Norwegian singer-songwriter Rebekka Bakken has been confidently transcending fixed genre boundaries for years, blending influences from Nordic folklore, jazz, country, and the singer-songwriter tradition into a sound all her own. In her solo program, she reveals her most personal side. Many of her songs are closely tied to her own life story and speak of love, longing, and new beginnings, as well as loss and hope. Between songs, she offers insights into the stories behind them, creating a concert experience that is as intimate as it is immediate.
